Who says there can be only one day to give the gift of love?

From a secret stash of vintage linen pieces.
They make lovely, slightly old-fashioned valentines, which can be made new with some imaginative stitching.
Love . . . both old and new!

An embroidered doily.
(The embroidery thread has some synthetic elements in it, so it resisted the indigo dye, leaving traces of its original color. I'm wary of synthetics, but occasionally they provide and interesting effect.)
